2. My Dad Was a Great Close Friend of Wesley's.
We knew him for years and years before he ever got "famous". Was sad to see him go, but it was a long time in the making.

We still have a bunch of his original colour marker drawings of the highway and skyline in the apartment, I should break some out for display.

3. That would be awesome

A friend of mine went to see him play a few years back at CBGB, of all places. Even got a headbutt as well. From what I gather, he was a gentle soul of a man. One you get over the initial giggles of the first few songs, his stuff really is an interesting study in the mind of a person living with schizophrenia. From what I've read, making music was his therapy.

5. "Cut the Mullet," no question.
True story: I was in Detroit about 3 years ago, checking out an exhibit at C-Pop Gallery. They had Wesley blasting throughout the 1st floor exhibition space, and "Cut the Mullet" came on. When that "Go to your barber and tell him you're tired of looking like an asshole" line came on, everyone in the place -- a good couple dozen people, mind you -- started cracking up.

Behold the awesome power of 300-pound psychotics.
