The fiberglass on the sailboat I'm building hasb't cured yet. It's all sticky. Now sticky is fine when your with a girl, in the backseat, on a hot August night, but not on sailboats. Last year when I layed up the bottom it cured in a few hours but now its taking forever. Anyone with any ideas?

...try a dehumidifier.

in my backyard on sawhorses. It has been cooler than last summer when I layed the bottom. The resin will eventually cure right? I was very careful measuring the hardener and resin.

3. I'm not an expert

I was guessing, however, that different weather conditions had something to do with the resin curing differently.

You might try googling kayak makers (there's one in Oak Ridge, TN, who makes pretty famous kayaks, but I can't remember its name). I think they usually post technical info about fiberglass, etc.

some stuff about the difference between laminating resins and finish resins. I got the right stuff. I guess I'll check it again tomorrow.
