I watched a world news program today. They spent about 2 minutes on the RNC, with no sound bytes!. Just the basics, who spoke, and that's it!
LINK also carries Democracy Now!, a progressive news show that had extensive coverage of the protest. From that show I learned that the RNC isn't satisfied with having the police, military, and SS patroling the streets...they also have a "private security force" that is working with the above groups and keeping people away from the delegate's hotels.
