As British-based publication NME puts it, he was “dramatically booed off stage” and was hit with a barrage of plastic bottles – some reportedly filled with urine. Somebody even hurled a camping chair.

“What was he even doing up there? It was the worst thing I’ve ever seen,” one festival goer told NME.

After a while, 50 started throwing the plastic bottles back into the crowd. Chants of “50 Cent is a wanker” were shouted in response, along with other choice words. The rapper then decided to placate the thousands of people by saying, “We’re just all here to have fun.” When that didn’t work, he challenged them to all put their middle fingers in the air
