Go see this movie: "Bush's Brain" - Check this thread for your hometown
Last week, DU was invited to a DC press screening of the movie "Bush's Brain". It's a documentary based on the book by the same title.

"Bush's Brain" tells the story of Karl Rove, George W. Bush's uber-consultant since before he ran for Governor of Texas. It shows how the the last four years of the Bush administration, and this year's campaign is taken straight from the Rove playbook. Rove isn't just a campaign consultant, he is in many ways a co-president.

This is a serious documentary. It's not an emotional appeal, and I did not feel that it was partisan propaganda. It won't turn off open-minded undecided voters. I highly recommend DUers go see this movie, and bring friends.

Check out the Bush's Brain website for more info: http://www.bushsbrain.com

3. I just saw a clip on Democracy Now!
with Molly Ivans about how Rove destroyed McCain in SC in 2000. It looks like a great movie.

5. 9 of the 14 screenings are in California venues...
Which works fine for me, but it smacks a bit of "preaching to the choir."

This film definitely needs a much broader distribution.
