5. they're best if you:

use half brown sugar (DARK) brown in place of half the white sugar they recommend AND if you add about a quarter cup of shredded coconut--you won't know it's there--but it makes them REALLY good. And yes they're betterwhen made with cheap margarine rather than butter.
