9:50 PM--Listening to itunes awaiting the DAILY SHOW!

talked to my kids, and celebrated my birthday with a dinner with my husband.

We did not even discuss the repukes.

Picked up my Kerry-Edwards sign.

Put it up on my front lawn (never had a major campaign sign before).

Had dinner.

Called my mom in Buffalo to tell her about the sign (she's a Democrat, too).

Poked around DU for a while.

Went to bed.

16. Didn't get home from work until 7:15...

Watched a little of Last Comic Standing until....

I went to Sam's Wines & Liquors to buy some Strongbow cider, then........

I drove to Tower Records to buy the new Bjork cd! While there, I also picked up the new cd by the Irish band Faithless. It features their new song "Mass Destruction".

When I got home, Laura Bush's plastic visage was on my new 36" television screen (a hand-me-down from my cousin, he got bored one day and bought a 50" tv and didn't have room for two big-ass teevees in his apartment), so I quickly turned the channel to Comedy Central before I heard anything she said.

After that, it was smooth sailing until the Daily Show! :-)

17. Removed all news stations from favorites list

Also, removed all local stations that carry news from digital cable "favorites" list. Snoozed peacefully knowing that RNC coverage had not invaded work/ school week. Good times ;-).
