??? computer Visio ER diagrams and creating database in access

I am reading this book that says I can take the ER diagram and automatically create an access database. But the book is based on an earlier version, perhaps 2002 and I have 2003 and I have tried everything I can tell

Export to database
but not sure if I need to then identify the fields or what. Since my ER diagram has it, I would think it could pick up the information and create the columns and rows from my table....

any one know anything about visio 2003 and access databases.

1. Please clarify your problem

Do you have the database tools menu? What edition of Visio do you have? What happens exactly when you try to export to database (if you have that feature installed)?
