Go to the folder and click either HBB or Spagetti Straps. They really just loops at this point and need editing. HBB repeats and goes on and on so don't listen to the more than 3 minutes of it unless you really like it :)

HBB is entirely made by me (drum machine and synths)
Spagetti straps is entirely samples except the deliberatley drum machine sounding beat (yes its a drum machine)

They are rather large files - sorry bout that dial up folks.

as the reply to your post there says it does start slow - but you obviously intended that. It definately sets the mood for the dramatic beginning. The accidental phone rings sound planned and exquisite. A very hypnotic piece of music :thumbsup:

11. What do you use to record?

I use AcidPro, even though it's a loop based program. But it works for me. I have a drum machine, full drum kit, 3 guitars, a bass, 2 amps, a Zoom500 effects pedal, and a mixing board.

I'm strictly a "studio" rat as well and have about 9 actual songs with full instrumentation all played by me. But now for some reason I'm just creating noise and outlandish sound collages. And I'm having more fun than I did frustrating myself trying to get each actual part of actual songs to sound just right. Now I just turn everything up and hit things and then manipulate the sounds until the hurt.

I have Acid Pro 4 and Fruity Loops, and acoustic guitar and a chat mic. I started off making sound collages, ambient and noise stuff, and now I'm moving toward actual songs with actual structure. Are you on Acid Planet? If so, what's your handle?

Honestly my usage of it is extremely rudimentary. I use it a lot but literally just start/stop recording and then occassionally applying some effects.

I especially like 'Spagetti Straps.' Even if these are made up from loops alone, they're constructed and pieced together very well. When it comes to loop-based music, some folks think it's as easy as just throwing a bunch of crap together and hitting "play." But choosing the right loops and samples to complement each other is important. Anyway, back from the tangent. These are great. Thanks!
