Weather OTB - now taking bets on Frances' path
I say she squirts through the gap between Cuba and Flurduh, and makes the entire gulf her bitch.

Any takers?

Winners receive nothing at all of value. If I'm feeling generous, I may call them "wankers."

...landfall will be between Vero beach and Cape Canaveral.

and since my business partner's house is at Melbourne Beach (smack dab in the middle of that path), we are very concerned. Forgive me if I refrain from chuckling at any amusing Hurricane Frances chatter.

11. Talked to my son in Tally
the met types aren't sure what systems will prove to have the most influence on the storm. Probabilities are good for the Cape to Jacksonville track.

12. Some poor slob having a bad year...
...in Orlando just got off the phone with his insurance company and muttered, "God, what else could go wrong?"

So he's getting another hurricane just like the last one.
