Jimmy Smits may replace Martin Sheen as President on "West Wing"
This could be interesting.

http://www.eonline.com/News/Items/0,1,14725,00.html

Smits' reps confirmed to E! Friday that the Emmy-winning actor is in talks to join the Emmy-winning drama next season, as a rival--and, according to the trades--a potential successor to Martin Sheen's President Bartlet.

Although West Wing distributor Warner Bros. declined to comment on the addition of Smits, his character is said to be an ambitious Houston congressman with eyes always on a bigger, possibly oval-shaped, office.

That's the jist of one article I read.

5. I was amused to see the actor who played Bartlett's relection
campaign manager speaking at the RNC. He made such a conviencing Democrat too.

6. Heh...he used to be one. He was one for his whole life.
But 9/11 freaked him out, apparently. Him and Ed Koch...idiots both.

8. There are a lot of folks like that.
I know Dennis Miller was scared stupid over 9/11.

Many of those folks stayed Democrats, but are afraid to not vote Bush for various reasons. Sad, and stupid, but true. I hate when we begin believing our opponents propaganda.

2. He won't be long for the office.
Everyone knows he dies when Alderaan gets blown up by the Death Star.

7. This could be Jimmy Smits' best career move
since replacing David Caruso as "that other guy" in NYPD Blue.
