Lynnesin? Pfft---I'm having a REALLY rough day

First, the auditors are here for what I pray is the last day. I am in charge of the audit so I am the point of contact. I had a hell of a time finding the checks they wanted as backup, I was all over the building trying to find them. How hard can it be to file things correctly and NOT keep files or loose checks in the garbage dumps that are my fellow employees' offices.

Second, I was supposed to go with my wife to take my brother to his first day of chemo AND radiation (tongue and lymphnode cancer) at UVa but because of the flooding Monday night we were closed yesterday and so I had to be here today.

My wife calls me IRATE-she got lost using the very exact (save for a route number not that it was needed) and I am looking hell straight in the face when she gets home.

I have a pounding headache and the auditors just got back. Nice guys but they are flat out wearing me out-physically and mentally.

Maybe you can communicate to your wife what you've been through today and she'll take it easy on you. Sounds like you deserve a little extra consideration to me.
