2. Oh! I didn't make it---I bought it (and pear jalapeno, and apple jalapeno
and cherry habanero and passion fruit and some others). This is the first one I've tried and it's FANTASTIC!

Says it is made with sugar, strawberries, habaneros, vinegar, pectin. www.texaspepperjelly.com (I'm not affiliated---just hooked on fiery foods!)

Some folks use it to marinate meats (like maybe you'd use the apple version on pork, for example), but I've been eating it on crackers and then just out of the jar with a spoon!

But I DID make my own pickles this year (and bread and butter squash and zucchini, and also pickled hot peppers from my garden), if that counts for anything.

5. thanks for the link, soothsayer
I have a couple of habanero pepper plants growing in my garden. I'll try to find a recipe for those jellies.

6. I've never made jelly, so I couldn't begin to tell you, but I can pickle
a pepper with the best of them (well, not the BEST, but...)

3. One of my family makes kiwi-habanero jelly.
Good stuff. Great as a glaze for chicken and fish, too.

7. Far less than a raw pepper would have. The sugar takes alot of the
sting out of it. Think atomic fireball hot. It's about that (with the occasional hot spot).
