I'm totally anti-Bush / pro-Kerry but think he looks like he's asleep in this picture. I can see it as a loving veteran moment but also as Kerry showing his age and tiredness from campaigning.

I certainly believe it's a heartfelt compassionate hug but at the same time I feel for Kerry b/c the constant speaking and traveling has got to wear him out, and i think it shows
