I GOT A JOB!!!!

....I start Friday night...I'm going to be a care giver/sitter to a mentally handicapped girl...I'll be workin' the 11pm to 7am shift....can't wait to start...it pays above minimum wage...but barely...still it's better than nuthin'....and bein' able to help someone else out like this is it's own reward. *pats self on back* :)

32. I just get really happy when I hear that someone got a job

In the last four years, so many of my friends and family members have lost their jobs.

Most have rebounded but not in the same field and for less money.

Many of my newly graduated college friends have also had a hard time finding a job and had to settle for something outside of their degree.

33. Well...this one was a who ya know instead o'what ya know......

....sorta deal...I'm not a qualified nurses aid...but I do have some trainin' in a hospital settin' and had good referrences...and a friend works there already soooo....I got really lucky. The woman I interviewed with yesterday...she and I hit it off and I'm quite sure I'm gonna fit in and do well here...it's beyond a godsend at this point as well....thank you so very much once more. :)

Hope your family and friends will be as fortunate as I've been and are gainfully employed ASAP!! :loveya:
