CT Yankee in Freeperland (Burlington, NC)
Wow, quite a culture shock on my weeklong business trip to tobacco country in Burlingotn, NC. I have been in a conference room and continually have to bite my tongue while I hear them planning around *'s appearance on Rush Limbaugh, the glories of the Reagan presidency, how the Democratic party of 1968 is far to the right of today's Democratic party, wondering why Clinton wasn't impeached on a unanimous vote, etc, etc. (The '68 quote almost made me respond...)

I'm alone down here, stuck without a car.

Only 1 more full day, though.
