Minnie Riperton appreciation thread
Her voice could break glass, man how I loved her.

Minnie’s unselfish compassion for others was recognized on April 4, 1977 when United States President Jimmy Carter presented her with the American Cancer Society’s “Courage Award”. The following year Minnie was named Education Chairperson for the American Cancer Society, and continued to reach out to women everywhere.

6. Why would you get flamed here?
She was an astounding machine. No Laura Branigan, but a great artist in her own right.

(kidding, kidding)
