RIP "Indian" Larry

Indian Larry was considered by the bikers of America to be a national treasure. He was a motorcycle designer and a master mechanic, and he had a voice and a style no one else could match.

Larry (the "Indian" referred to the Indian Motorcycles he rode in his earlier years) was injured during a recent public performance. While standing atop his moving bike he fell off with a sizable audience watching. He succumbed to his injuries.

Rest In Peace.

3. Yes, but I suppose he went out the way he wanted....
Something to be said about that when you think of our guys (and female soldiers) dying at the whim of Bush*

I always liked the look of the old Indian motorcycles, so your post caught my eye--(though I know nothing about riding them!)

9. A very talented guy. May he RIP.
I don't approve of riding without a helmet, but he's an adult. He knew the risks.
