(All this is at SteveEarle.com)

Steve Earle's new album, "The Revolution Starts...Now" is 89 on the Billboard Top 200 album chart. The album is also the number 1 Country album on ITunes and in the top 15 overall albums on ITunes. Both Blender and Rolling Stone gave the album Four Stars. Billboard says the album "will be viewed as the essential political statement of 2004." Also check out the feature on MotherJones.com.

Steve Earle's new hour-long weekly music show on Air America can be heard Sunday nights at 10pm. The show is aptly titled "The Revolution Starts...Now". XM radio channel 167 and Sirius channel 144 will broadcast the show nationwide. The show can be heard on the Air America Radio Network and online at www.airamericaradio.com.

Steve will perform and sign copies of "The Revolution Starts...Now" at Twist & Shout (300 E. Alameda) in Denver, CO. on Friday, September 10 at 5 p.m. For more information, please visit Twist & Shout.

1. It was really great
I'd never heard of him, but now I am going to go buy this new CD. We are on the West Coast, and MSNBC played the song twice in an hour. Ron Reagan and Joe Scarborough held their mikes for him - Scarborough for the singing, Ronnie for the guitar. It looked as if it was being played on Times Square, also.

2. I caught this late last night! Earle sounded great...
And I liked the fact that Scarborough had to stand there for four minutes or so holding the voice mic, all the while getting a whopping dose of unadulterated truth from Earle's lyrics! :)

3. It was great show (I saw it live!)

Sadly, people at the MSNBC "holding area" around H. Square didn't seem to know who Steve Earle was. I had to tell at least 7 people who he was and why he was on our side. But, I managed to get to see him perform live, albeit from behind a police barricade and a wrought-iron fence.

Steve stayed around after and talked with the band that was playing for the bumps to commercial.

Cool man and very insightful and wise.
