How old do you have to be to run a voter registration drive?
Edited on Thu Sep-02-04 05:21 PM by AlFrankenFan
As in go out and get people to register to vote? Just curious cause I'm starting a Democratic club at school and I'm thinking of things we can do for the community and such. Thanks!

Edit: And like what I mean is give those forms out and then return them to some place...

Edit 2: I'm 14, and most of the members will surely be around the same age...just trying to see what we're limited to.

1. 18
just go down to your city hall and you can be deputized to register people to vote in your city. it's a short, 10 minute process

5. I started that kind of stuff at age 17
all they asked me at the time was if I was over 16...I guess for liability reasons. Go out and do it, take a friend, trust me it's a good time and you will feel better that you did it!

I wish I could do it this year, but the nature of my major doesn't leave me with much free time(I have to work 30 hours a week in it aside from class time)

6. Yeah I am 17, I am gonna do it
I would have done some stuff this summer but I worked 40 hour weeks. My mom wants me working this fall but its gonna be hard to fit in, I am a member of the young dems and I have an officers role in it so I am gonna be busy,
