Poll question: Do you find yourself attractive?

I have a lesbian friend who seems very self confident so it was rather shocking when she told me that she does not find herself attractive at all. She said that she wouldn't date esomeone who looked like her. While I struggle with my self image, I actually find myself attractive.
I don't know. Maybe this is more a gay/lesbian issue. Maybe, she, a plus size athlete with short hair, is just saying that her preference is for more feminine or smaller women. Or this is a serious self esteem issue?
Don't most people find themselves attractive? I don't really put a lot of effort in to my appearance, but I at least aim to be attractive enough to myself. Or am I narcissistic? How about you?

Not a gay / lesbian issue at all. I think we all fret over our personal attractiveness to other folks. Moot point in my case, though. I have to sneak up on the mirror to brush my teeth.

I can see what others might find attractive about me, on the other hand, I wouldn't be attracted to someone who looked like me. Has nothing to do with my self-image, just who attracts me.

Self-esteem is self-esteem no matter your sexual preference.

Sometimes, I get into a self-critiquing mode expecting some sort of unattainable perfection (I do that in other aspects of my life as well at times- I expect a lot from myself), but the consensus seems to be I'm attractive and I get plenty of positive feedback in that regard, so it must mean something. :D
