1. I clicked on your link.
Wonderful!

We have a thirteen year old lab that was taken from an abusive owner when she was a little over a year old.

She is a great dog, and still in very good health.

2. I love dogs as much as I love cats
my first pet when I was 11 was a collie dog...those were happier days and we had a house with a big back yard for her to romp around in....Soon after moving to Oregon my parents went through a bitter divorce and we ended up living in a cramped apartment with a large collie dog begging to be let out all the time...One day my Dad came by and took her and left her with some people unknown to us and then one day said she had "run away"...And that was the end of our dog days....

I love dogs and absolutely hate to hear of their abuse, and I'm sure I will hear from folk saying "Well what about people and the abuse they suffer?"

What I'm trying to say is I'm sick and tired of useless divisionary comments that have no worth whatsoever except to try to disillusion people who really care about such things...Cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, it makes no difference to me. If I find a critter in need of help I will try to help it...end of post.l

4. Abuse is abuse, and it's always wrong
...whether it's people or animals. I agree with you!
