Are peanuts safe for a cat?
Our cat has had peanut butter before, so I think it's ok, and he seems to love it. Are peanuts themselves safe?

Unshelled, of course. Just... a bag of nuts.

2. I think so.
Mine takes chunks out of my peanut butter sandwiches every chance he gets. It's fun to watch him eat it, and it hasn't done him any harm.

6. ok good
Our cat, Merlin, ate a couple earlier. I was wondering if there was anything to worry about involving whole peanuts. Apparently not! He Hoovered 'em.

3. I've heard peanuts are ok
but chocolate is not! So don't offer them any Reeses peanut butter cups! Seriously...

My cats disdain people food entirely (even salmon) except for chicken, if I eat chicken they will practically crawl up my leg wanting some! Go figure!

7. yeah, chocolate is poisonous to cats
or is it some types of chocolate?

If I grow catgrass, will he leave alone my other plants and concentrate on the catgrass?

9. no
would my kitten eat the cat grass??? noooooo, the african violet is her prefered salad.
and the other kitten preffered 'playing in' his little patch of grass.

my cat loves the cookies i make and i made sugar cookies with coffee grounds in them and i asked the vet and never got an answer on caffeine.

11. hehehe ok ok
so I guess I may have wasted my money. I haven't grown the seeds yet, so we'll see.

I guess I'm not important at the moment. He just walked past with nary a glance. It was like big ol' me wasn't even there.

Ah well.

13. I know that chocolate is toxic to both cats and dogs
but I haven't heard that nuts are. Actually, my vet's assistant suggested that I could use peanut butter to get a pill into my dog, so I think that nuts must be okay. Just don't overdo it, as with anything else.
