1. they just recently came out with the new model
so go ahead and pick one. (there's only 2)
Only difference is hard drive size - so that's up to you!

Enjoy!!

2. I bought mine back in April
15GB memory (which I don't think I'll ever fill) and I love it. Adapts beautifully to PC, very user friendly software. Itunes could use some more selections but all in all a great device for a music lover.

3. I just bought the 20 Gig one
For my wife for her birthday and its great.

It has a 12 hour battery life ( the older ones have 8 )and the four main buttons that are normally on top of the wheel are now right on the wheel so its a bit smaller.

For about $50.00 more give or take, I would have to say its better then the Ipod mini which has 4 Gig's and can quick-charge to %80 power in one hour (the 20 Gig one takes about 2 hours)....The real down-side I think to the Mini is the hard drive size, for the extra fifty dollars you get four times the drive size...seems a much better buy to me unless size is an issuse...the mini is a wee bit smaller all around then the 20 Gig one and has a few nice colors.

The newer ones like the 20 gig and the Mini's also come with the USB 2.0 wires inculded...the older versions don't so you have to buy them separately.

If you get one you might want to check at Amazon for an item called Pod Shield..its a very thin but not too thin, plastic cover that goes over the ipod and will stop any scratching (they scratch if you look at them cross-eyed) there like three for twelve dollars or so..bit more with shipping

Just my opinion, hope it helped :)

4. ipods are better than other ones!
they are smaller for their memory, and have other fabulous features such as the touch-sensitive wheel and no sticking out parts. No buttons to break! Itunes is the best music organizing program and it makes no difference that you have a pc.

6. I love my ipod and I'm a pc user (m)
mine is the 20 gig third generation one. I LOVE it. :)

I have a cheap-o mp3 player as well and it isn't as good at all.

7. Thanks. I know there's NO WAY Mich is in play....right? In 2000

I was hanging in L.A. with my pals from Port Huron, watching the election returns. They told me don't worry, Mich aint going for Bush -- we see right through him. And they was right. Michigan-ites keep it real, don't they?

8. I can't imagine Michigan going for Bush (m)
I mean, we've got our right-wing wackos for sure. But Kerry seems more popular than Gore was by a long shot. And Gore took Michigan. So I agree with you - I think Kerry will get Michigan for sure :)
