I have to find a home for these cats by tomorrow...please please help
Any DUers in the Chicagoland area if you know of any no-kill shelters please please please help me find one. I have two wonderful cats that I am fostering. They belonged to my neighbor but she got evicted. One cat is 3 and very very small (I weighed her at 5 pounds), the other cat is normal sized and 8 years old. Shelters here in NW Indiana are not no-kill and I've tried the Independent Cat Society as well as another cat fostering group. I've posted ads, but people just don't want older cats, they only want kittens. These cats are super sweet, especially the little one (she needs constant attention or she cries though). I just don't want to put them in the shelter if they don't stand a chance of being adopted out.

Thanks in advance

Steph

1. Oh no. They are so sweet.
I live too far away and can't have any more pets than what I already have...I hope they'll find a good home.

Good luck...

3. THere use to be a store in Chicago that was for cats only. They
had a lot of cats that were for sale or adoption. You got rung into the store and there were cats everywhere. Neat place. This was years ago and I have no idea if it's still there. Name was something cute like The Cat House or something like that.
