Anyone else awake?

Just got back from a night of moderate drinking with some friends. My girlfriend is 300 miles away and I got a hurricane coming up my backside (metaphorically speaking). What's going on with you guys and girls tonight?

6. I'm pretty good myself

I remember when I started college (I am a 4th year undergrad myself). It started out kinda rough for me as well. Just give it some time and I would recommend getting involved. I don't know how large your school is but where I am at, there are tons of clubs, intramural sports, frats (if that's your thing. I'm not much of a fan :)) and so on. Just go and do what you enjoy. I know I sound like an afternoon special, but thats how I got out of the rut when I got to school.

Nearly everyone left for Labor Day weekend, so I'm in a similar situation. Bummer.

Edit: Hey, LK, you seem to be doing your insomniac posts a couple of hours later than you did last year--are the lack of bedtime constraints going to your head?:)

7. I'm up

Total insomniac here... if I don't have to get up early for school/work (and I don't have either for the first time in three years or so... not for long, though) I get turned around to the point that I'm going to bed at sunrise and getting up after noon. Tonight I just hung out with my ex-girlfriend/best friend who's down for the Labor Day weekend, and currently I'm checking out the news and DU online and watching The Brady Bunch. That's my life... oh yeah! But I'm trying to soon get my butt in gear and get going on some swing state campaigning for Kerry.
