Cubs Fans: Something else to blame
Hurricane Frances! Their entire three-game series this weekend at the Florida Marlins has now been postponed. This means the following likely scenario: The Cubs will have to play 29 games in the next 29 days. The projection is that the Cubs will play a doubleheader on both teams' only remaining common open date, September 20. Plus, if it has an impact on any race, they would play on Monday, October 4th.

The schedule isn't ridiculously hard for the remaining four weeks, but getting only one off-day isn't easy. Just more curse potential for the Cubbies.

2. Bud Selig could have switched series
Have Florida come up here this week, Cubs go down there later.

But Bud Selig is a f*cking tool.
