1. Yeah and Rutgers beat Michigan State.
And LSU is not looking very Champion like.

3. LSU 89 yards total offense
Oregon State 170 total yards offense.

This tells a lot, but the score don't.

5. Clutch drive to tie it
Edited on Sat Sep-04-04 09:21 PM by AwsieDooger
LSU from 3rd and 10 at their own 36 to a tie game three plays later, including the 2 point conversion, 15-15 with 1 minute remaining.

7. It's awful for a Beaver fan to go through this...
OSU should have already won but the same mental mistakes keep popping up year after year (and I'm just talking since the Erickson years) before that I thought they'd go Division 1-A or something they were so bad for so long...

9. And LSU pulls it out...
I'm heartbroken (well for about 15 minutes)...3 missed PATS what the hell is this???? What a way to lose after that hard fought game, I'm disgusted...Is it because I'm a Democrat I sometimes wonder am I abandoned to a life of doom and gloom?

11. His teammates didn't even threaten to console him
And as bad as I feel for Serna, the kicker, you can hardly blame them. The last miss wasn't even close, maybe 4 yards outside the upright. The previous one would have left LSU 9 points behind and not 8 during the final minutes, all but out of it.

And LSU definitely got some homer officiating in the OT, a cheap defensive holding call on offense then a much more blatant mugging of an OSU receiver that was not called.

Much more of an Oregon St choke than LSU bail out. With that frosh QB, LSU wil be hard pressed to score enough points to run the table again.

13. Yeah what a great job they did...
...against the "no-defense" PAC-10 team the Beavers! For want of a kicker this game would have been OSU's...I look for LSU to be ranked lower next week...And in college football, it's the polls that count!! "How 'bout them Tigers" is quite the catch phrase but they impressed me not at all...Although one does not believe in moral victories, when the SEC champ basically gets outplayed by the 5th place Pac 10 team, well, it shows me a little more about media bias...
