7. Just tie yourself up to a tree with a yellow ribbon
and let the elements kill you. Believe me, it will feel good in comparison to having that song in your head.

16. Okay, I don't get that song.
The guy's in prison, right? The guy and his wife/girlfriend must've been exchanging letters in order for him to give her the yellow ribbon instructions, so you'd think he would have asked her in one of the letters if she still wanted him instead of going through all that hokey BS. Anyway, the song is supposed to be all romantic at the end, but I've always wondered what the guy did to end up in prison? 3 long years--it's possible it was manslaughter and he got out on good behavior. I just don't get the song at all. Dear god what have you started? KILL ME NOW!!!

17. I have no clue as to what it's about
Actually, the songs mentioned in this thread aren't annoying to me. I grew up happily watching the TV show. I'm annoyed by a lot of things in life, but Tony Orlando isn't one of them.

I guess I got my Tony shots in school or something.

(Now, if you really want to get to me, start singing Journey or REO Speedwagon)

8. Maybe this will help...
Knock three times
on the ceiling if you want me

Twice on the pipe
if the answer is no-ohohoh

oh, my sweetness

(Knock, knock, knock!) Means you'll meet me in the hallway

Twice on the pipe (clink, clink) means you ain't gonna show
