I finally bought a TV.
I got rid of my television back in 1995 as an experiment, I haven't missed it.

This morning I was passing by a Best Buy and I decided to pop in and look at the toys. For some reason, I felt compelled to buy a 27 inch flat-screen television and a DVD player today.

I spent the afternoon watching movies and eating grapes.

It's been fun to be smug about not owning a television. Alas, now I own a television again. The damn thing is in my living room...it's like I have a house-guest with one huge eye. Damn it's big. I should have stuck with a 20-inch screen.

I am ready to be brainwashed by the mainstream corporate media machine.

2. you were wise not to have one, we didn't have one in a group
house I lived in, and it was a good thing. But they can occasionally be useful too.
