Another difference between repukes and democrat: Violence
So I'm shopping at Best Buy and these 2 guys were next to me in the other line. I knew they were repukes because they were talking about Michael Moore. And some of the conversation I picked up had comments like:

"That Michael Moore is such an asshole"
"Yeah, if I ever ran into that asshole on the street, I'd deck him one"
"You bet, or I'd run him over with my car"

Seriously, why do repukes feel they need to commit acts of violence against anyone they disagree with.

Now I'm the first to admit that I can't stand those SwiftIdiot Liars for Bush PLUS I found out that two of them live here in my state of Delaware. So the odds of me running into a SwiftLiar are pretty much greater than those 2 assholes running into Michael Moore. But if I ran into a SwiftIdiot, the LAST thing I would do is commit acts of violence against any of them. I MAY give them a piece of my mind but that's about it. And even if I never run into any of them, I would never advocate anyone committing violence against these people.

So my question is this: Why are repukes such violent people to those they disagree with?

1. Because they are frightened little men
and therefore they are bullies. They threaten or use violence because it makes them feel like they don't have such little bitty d*cks.

2. If I were there...
I'd point my finger at them and yell, "Whatcha gonna do when Kerry-mania runs rampant over you?" then clothesline them before picking them back up and gorilla slamming them into the CDs. Of course, I'd have to rip my shirt apart then and flex afterwards.

Luckily, I'm a non-violent democrat. :)

It's late.

3. Lynne, I have pondered this for a long time... since 1980
when the Reaganistas were ascendant. They were a bunch of thugs too. I believe the people drawn to the mindless drivel put out by the RW opinion makers feel threatened somehow.
They feel they were better off before.
Before what, I am not sure.
But they have this bizzare idea that convervatism can somehow make all the changes that scare them go away, that everything wrong with their life has come from decisions Washington DC made somehow.

Of course, they don't want to associate with blacks, gays, Hindus, Arabs, free Women, new immigrants, or ilk of that sort. They feel all of these things have conspired with some kind of grand Communist plot to destroy their way of life.

The only outlet they feel is possible is violence. They have tried debate, but their facts are too fuzzy and they get their ass handed to them.

That is the only explanation I can offer.
Sorry.
