Hey... does anyone subscribe to Time Warner On Demand?
I was flipping through the pay-per-view movies on Channel 1 (I think it's the same system-wide), and noticed the damnedest thing.

The movies are organized into genres... Classic, Comedy, Action, etc. While scrolling through these tabs, I came across one which was not like the other: "Election 2004."

Curious, I clicked on the tab. There I found every single major speech from the Republican National Convention. Rudy. Ah-nuld. Zell. Dick. Bush. And you know what else? They're absolutely FREE to view, no charges and you can rewind, fast forward, and watch to your heart's delight.

I don't recall seeing a similar offering on the "Movies" channel after the Democratic National Convention, but the speeches might have been there. I just don't know.

At any rate, I'm pretty pissed off about it right now. What in hell are the RNC Speeches doing on the Pay-Per-View Movies Channel???

If you've got Time/Warner On Demand, please take a look and tell me if you find the same thing.

:grr:

I just checked it to be sure and all I see are the RNC speeches . I do not remember any Democratic National Convention Speeches being on there at all ! Almost every prime time speech is on there . Bah - this is totally biased .

2. I guess it's possible Time-Warner had the DNC speeches too...
... but isn't it just weird? And why put them on the Movies Channel?

3. I know I would think they would be on CNN On Demand .
I wish I would have checked around the DNC time if any speeches from the DNC were on then . Maybe there are on the Movies Channel because they are pure entertainment . Better than that , they should be in the comedy section .

Had I know that, I would have ordered 'em up and Tivo'd the Clinton and Kerry speeches, since I dropped the ball the first time around.

:-(

5. We have them on Comcast too
I don't recall the DNC speeches being offered, but I know they sent a message to all customers via the cable box telling us about the RNC speeches.
