12. He is getting big, it's a really funny contrast when you see them together

He's big and muscular, built like a bulldog, she's tiny, slim and svelt. . . built like a ferret, but with long legs :).

Factor in the color, and they're about as opposite in appearance as they could possibly be :).

She's more of a lap cat/glutton for attention than he is. He only wants attention when he's in the mood, with her, if there's a lap available, she wants to be in it :).

The gold one reminds me of a cat named Scamp who I took care of for a friend of mine when he got married. She went back to his ex girlfriend (who was the original owner) and is now sunning herself on the beach in California. :)

22. she passed away about a year or so ago.

She lived with us for 22 years. She never got over 9 lbs, was fearless, and very vocal.

17. Wow! Quinn reallly got HUGE!

I still think of him as an itty bitty kitten. How old is he now?

25. Not even a year yet. At a guess, I'd say 11 months.

I'm still not sure exactly how old he was when I got him, he was probably still to young to leave his mother, I'm going to guess 6 to 8 weeks when I got him. That was at Thanksgiving last year.

So I'd guess he'll be about a year in October.

27. Fargo's new little sister...

We threw around a bunch of names (including Eartha Kitty, which everyone on DU agreed the other day was very cute). None of them were really singing to us though.

She needed something feisty and fun.

So we named her Molly, after Molly Ivins, cause she's spunky, and she's a fighter. :D And most of all, she chose it by looking up when we called her that.

That's why I called him smart alec! He used to do that a lot. We'd be sitting around the table eating or reading and drinking coffee and he wanted to join us. So he'd literally sit in the chair, lean on the table and listen to us talk and observe any reading material lying there.

I've never watch a cat show in my life, but I remember years ago seeing a segment on the news where a "mutt" cat named Woodpile won the big prestigious Cat Show. (Not to call your cat a mutt, but she looks like Woodpile...a winner and gorgeous colors!)
