Any Neil Finn fans on this forum?

I'm a huge fan and many of my fellow fans seem to be pretty liberal. In fact we've actually created a side forum for Finn fans where we can discuss things outside the music realm since we all seem to be so compatible. I was just wondering if anyone here was either on the Frenz forum, Next Exit forum or just a fan but not on a forum.

By the way, I have the same user name on all three forums so it makes it easy to find me!

Considering my first post I hope you were kidding when you said that to me. I adore the music of Neil Finn, and will challenge you to a duel a la Zell Miller if I hear that kind of talk again! Neil Finn is the most under-rated musician alive today as far as I'm concerned. And while his older brother is indeed talented, I don't enjoy his music nearly as much. But I would never call him a hack!

What type of forums are the Frenzforum and the Next Exit?

The Frenzforum (Frenz of the Enz) is a music forum for fans of all Finn-related music (Split Enz, Crowded House, Finn Brothers, etc.). It's pretty cool but they're very strict about enforcing the rules so you have to be careful what you write. It's good for finding out tour and album info though. Here's the link:

Next Exit is a forum where some of us from the Frenzforum decided to meet up to talk about whatever, since many of us felt like we had a lot in common. It's totally free-form but quite fun. The only rules are to respect one another and not be an asshat:

And I am NOT on the Frenz forum, under the name of Pajakev. And my favorite song is NOT "Distant Sun" because I have never even heard it. And I most CERTAINLY did not print lyrics from the new Finn Brothers CD in this forum the week before it came out, in a blatant attempt to get people to buy it. And that is NOT a Finn Brothers quote in my sig. line.

Most of all, I am NOT going to ask you to marry me, right now, sight unseen, just because you are a liberal and a Finnfan.

Hi Finnfan! I recognize the name (Pajakev) from the forum! I remember it because it reminded me of a Young Ones episode where Rick conjured up a devil by saying "Numkul pukajul futoomuch". Anyway, good to er... see you again!

Okay, I would totally marry you on the spot but I'm unfortunately already married. And the only reason I would divorce my husband is if Neil Finn were to suddenly become single (not that I wish Sharon any ill, I'm just saying). Sorry. Thanks for the offer though, it's very sweet!

They just played in the states and I was at both Chicago shows, I waited in line for hours and was first row dead center for the second show. Yes, I am a geek. Even though their new album is admittedly not my favorite Finn-related album (sorry Finnfan) their live shows are always AMAZING. Go, you won't regret it.

And, incidently, I was a big fan of Crowded House's first album then forgot about them for years while I went through my punk rock girl phase, then my roommate brought home "Together Alone" (CH's last official studio album) and I was hooked. I think it's my favorite album all-time.
