2. I need vision correction. I choose glasses.
I don't want/don't want to pay for the surgery, and I'm too lazy for contacts.

Besides -- I have a bit of a glasses fetish anyway. Might as well wear them myself.

That reminds me -- I need to go for an exam. I'm way overdue.

5. I prefer to wear contacts
Unfortunately, I've been having trouble wearing contacts for any length of time lately after wearing them regularly since I was 11. I have been wearing them lately to work. I really don't like to since I look like a mega geek in them, but I am too blind and our workplace is too dangerous to go without them.

6. Extended wear contacts...
I am pretty bad about sleeping with them - weeks at a time, but I like the fact that I rarely have to think about it.

Glasses give me a major headache - has nothing to do w/ the prescription, but having anything on my face head just irritates me.

9. I wear specs for reading, computer work and driving, etc.
So basically, they sit on my nose nearly all day.

I'm going to look into lasik, though.

11. Only worn them for a couple of years
But I was stubborn, I needed them for far longer. Now I'm stuck with bifocals.

13. bare eyed
Edited on Mon Sep-06-04 06:56 PM by JohnKleeb
Despite my hereditary condition which has left me near blind in my left eye, I don't require glasses in large part to a great right eye, I may start to wear driving glasses though. Laser btw won't work on my left eye so I am naturally protective of my right.

15. Both contacts and glasses!
Usually glasses at home, contacts out in the world. Myopic and proud of it. B-)
