Update on my friend who has breast cancer

Just got this e-mail from her S.O.:

<<Diane is having a real tough time. I know you wanted to come visit this weekend, but she's not in any condition for that. The chemotherapy is causing a lot of sores in her mouth and throat, where she can barely eat anything. She's crying a lot and mostly staying in bed when she doesn't have to go to work or to the doctor.

I think she'll eventually be okay, but she's going to have a real rough next 4 to 6 months.>>
