Who remembers the 1985 film comedy, THE SURE THING?
Edited on Mon Sep-06-04 08:10 PM by NightTrain
I've no idea why, but that movie popped into my head earlier tonight. Hadn't thought about the damned thing since I saw it theatrically half a lifetime ago!

THE SURE THING starred John Cusack and Daphne Zuniga as polar-opposite college students who, for reasons I can't recall, are stuck together on a cross-country road trip. While it certainly wouldn't qualify as a classic, I do recall THE SURE THING being a thoroughly enjoyable little comedy.

So, does anyone else remember it?

1. Love it, love it, love it.
That, "say anything..." and "Better Off Dead" complete my classic John Cusack romantic comedy trilogy.

Raise your hand if you really wanted to be John Cusack.

2. I just saw it on TV
a couple of weeks ago. I had never seen it before. I liked it, nice comedy and John Cusack was so cute!

3. Cult Classic
Great movie. Very quotable.

I often use, "Spontaneity has its time and place," among others.
