on an entirely different note, a minute ago... Wolf read what Putin wrote or said to to "our side"... about the double standard regarding the Chechen situation... he said something like... "why don't you invite Bin Laden to Washington and ask him what he wants... give it to him and maybe he will leave you in peace... why should we talk to these killers of children.... etc. etc. etc. Sounds like Putin is getting a dose of Bushworld. May he enjoy every minute of it.

7. That's always been the danger of *'s go-it-alone policies

That's what makes Shrubya so dangerous to the rest of the world. Any country can feel that they can justify any action with any reaction. Whether it's condoned by the rules of international law or not.

6. There are about a dozen good poets in the history of the English language.

About a dozen more in German, a dozen in French, a half-dozen in Spanish, two in Italian. A couple each in Greek and Latin, a few in Arabic. A dozen or so each in Chinese and Japanese.

Every other major language has one or two great poets.

In other words, 99.9999999999999999999% of poetry is shit.
