Moonbeam_Starlight sees all, knows all, ask me about next four years!
I'll start off by amazing everyone with my psychic abilities:

John Kerry will win the 2004 presidential election, both the popular vote and the electoral majority. He will not win by a small margin, but the American media will not call it a landslide, either. Some states will be surprising in their blueness.

The openly joyous celebrations in major American cities will make international headlines.

A small faction of right-wingers will try to scream "dirty election tricks!" but the margin is wide enough that they are quickly silenced because even other right-wingers think they look foolish.

The lame-duck bush administration will be angered by statements of congratulations to Kerry/Edwards from other countries that are given immediately.

Attacks on Kerry/Edwards will not abate, but will increase in frequency. This will continue, unfortunately, throughout his first term.

Kerry will win re-election in 2008. His first term will be very very tough, but the Democrats will have been completely energized by his 2004 win and will work harder than ever to support the Democratic party and Kerry/Edwards in particular.

I have to work a bit harder--having hazy returns on my seeing the 2006 mid-terms.

Any other questions I left unresolved? Ask away! I see all, I know all...

3. Unfortunately, no
bush doesn't end up with a prison term.

There ARE some minor players who DO end up with indictments who probably would NOT have had bush won in November 2004. But because Kerry won, they find it hard to escape prosecution and take the fall. The most major player involved is Rummy, but he manages to escape any time.

8. Yep
in fact, it will become energized, much like the rest of the Dem party, by the Kerry win in November. It will continue to be a wonderful source of web-activism and information for those on the left, because, after all, we have more than the November election to worry about.

DU ends up getting mentioned in later histories of this period.

A side note, but mentioned nonetheless.

A word of caution--

We broke up after 3 years together last Thursday but we are trying to make it work (although we're still officially separated)
