6. Clive Cussler's "hero"

in most of Cussler's books, Pitt is the hero; kind of a 2nd-rate James Bond knockoff, IMO.

I tried, read three books, I just never was able to warm up to his character.

He is nowhere near as cool a character as Travis McGee.
