I waited for 2 days... and then... could not have it because of some huge trees in the line of their "satellite"... GRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

There's one tree right in front of my patio (I live in an apartment building) and I think it might be in the way. I'll be pissed if I wait for nothing.

Well, maybe it is not in the direction of thier satellite... but if it is, kiss it goodbye... I tried two companies (one direct, one dish) and both aimed at the same thing... and removing that tree would be about $300 for me... soooooooooooooooo... I will wait for cable... we live in the boonies so I will be watching from my casket!!!! HAHAH

4. My roommate has a satellite dish

Its motor is broken so we can't use it, and he got it YEARS ago - about six months before the teeny little ones came out. So it's basically the size of a friggin' tree, taking up shloads of space needlessly because the motor repairs cost so much he refuses to fix it. Ponder our plight and laugh at us! When the Dish Network guy comes, you'll be all the more grateful that you aren't buying something that'll require its own truck when you move.
