2. ibm thinkpad r51

i was tossed up between mac and PC, so when I was leaning pc I was advised to get an IBM as opposed to a dell because the thinkpads are said to be better built

11. Heck yeah

My baby has got a rather unsightly crack in the case. . . and the slot-loading DVD drive makes some unhealthy sounds on occasion, but everything is still 100% functional.
