Flying saucer crashes in Utah!
Honest!

This isn't like the Roswell phony, this is the real thing, caught on video also.

Space Probe Crashes Without Parachutes

A delicate game of catch was supposed to play out over Utah on Wednesday as NASA helicopters tried to snag a returning satellite in mid-air to protect ultra-sensitive cargo.

A capsule containing particles of the solar wind lies partially buried in the Utah desert after crashing Sept. 8, 2004. It was supposed to deploy a parachute and be caught by helicopters.

But the 500-pound probe containing particles of the solar wind captured on ultra-clean wafers crashed into the desert, apparently without parachutes deploying.

Just before noon EDT, long-range cameras caught the probe as it fell spinning through the atmosphere. But no drogue parachute to slow the craft ever appeared, nor did a parafoil that was supposed to be caught by hooks under the helicopters.
