Edwards coming to Tucson! At Noon on a Monday???!!!

Whose bright idea was this??? I would love to volunteer my services to help out when Edwards comes to visit but guess what? Monday at noon?? uh there's a thing called either school or work and most people are attending both during noon time on a Monday.

I assume it's maybe because it's the only time Edwards could fill in or something, however Pima County is a MAJOR player in this presidential race, if Kerry and Edwards really want to win this election they better start flirting with Arizona and FAST because * is already planning on visiting Tucson at least a couple more times I hear, and there are alot of yahoos in this town that are gonna buy into all his bullshit lies and swing that way, and there goes Arizona, which btw even with Bush stealing Florida back in 2000 could've given Gore a clear victory had he won it in the last election.

We are neck and neck here in Arizona we need to see Kerry and Edwards out here ALOT, and picking a Monday at noon will attract a good number of people I don't doubt, but some of us can't afford to miss class and many of us cannot afford to miss work, so all I can say is don't be surprised when all of a sudden it seems like people in Tucson aren't coming out in as big of droves for Edwards as they will for Bush when he comes here on a Saturday and treats the crowd to free Lone Star Beer.

1. Thats how it was yesterday ...

A lot of times these events are planned at the very last minute . Thats how it was yesterday when Kerry made a visit to my hometown of Greensboro , North Carolina . First of ,the event was not made known to the public until the last minute . There was only space for between 500 - 600 people . Second , party insiders knew about the event weeks before the rest of us did . Meaning there was no way for people to rearrange their work/school schedules to attend the 11am event . I would have liked to volunteer as well but from what I have learned now , you have to join up with your local Democratic Party if you really want to be in the know / and attend campaign events . I hope Kerry and Edwards both come back and have even bigger events so that everyone can come .


We really need to Kerry/ Edwards as much as possible here in NC because the Republicans have been doing a lot chest thumping lately .
