Uh Oh..Bush visits the NHC in Miami today

I just read the 5:00 ET discussion from the NHC and it starts out like this:

Maybe he was there to get briefed about the latest intelligence on Hurricane Ivan, and got a PDB titled, oh...I don't know...maybe:

I live on the Gulf Coast, so I have to joke about this thing while I can before it gets closer and scares the bejeezle out of me.

2. You know, I was thinking the same thing . . .

Why does it seem that every time Junior shows up Florida a hurricane isn't far behind?

He made a campaign stop there in mid-August, then Charley roars through, leaving death and destruction. Then he comes BACK to Florida to survey the damage and then - WHAM - Frances strikes.

Today he makes a visit AGAIN and Ivan's churning in the Caribbean.

Kinda makes you wonder . . . :scared:

The good people of The Sunshine State are in my thoughts and prayers, too.
