Virtue is it's own reward! Or is it?

Tell us about your many good deeds and incredible demonstrations of restraint.

Please.

1. I would correct that typo, ...
but I'm conducting an experiment to see if you can restrain yourself and keep from pointing it out and ridiculing me for my illiteracy.

Let's see whose up for the challenge!

11. have you seen that film?
think carefully before you answer because I have the entire film memorized(i can even do the voices) and I can type really fast.

"It's like in a Hitchcock movie, you know, where they tie you up in a rubber bag and throw you in the trunk of a car. You find people."

2. yesterday
while talking with a co-worker who was telling me that she got sunburned while attending a *rally in town on Sunday, I resisted telling her that if she actually votes for the fool, she'll really get burned.

Instead I just said, yes, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Of course, she's training me in my new job- getting into it would have been unpleasant for my new career as a catalog telephone order taker.

3. Once, this really cute girl was hitting on me, but I had a girlfriend
This girl made it really obvious (you have to with me), and offered a perfect setup - she had sold me my futon, but it was missing a piece. She offered to walk it over to my apartment after work. I was in a committed relationship with a woman who had recently moved several hundred miles away when she went active duty on the Air Force. I agonized all day - I could have sex with this woman and there was no way my girlfriend would find out. But I would know, and feel guilty. So I didn't pursue it.

A week later my girlfriend dumped me over the phone.

When I went back to the futon store that girl wasn't working there anymore.
