Florida: Lost Dogs Find their Way Home..
Lost dogs find their way home

By SCOTT McCABE

Palm Beach Post Staff Writer

Thursday, September 09, 2004

Two days after Hurricane Frances' unwanted visit, Dave and Christine Moore were awakened by two more uninvited guests.

The Acreage family heard a whimper at the front door early Tuesday morning.

At first Christine thought it was one of her three small dogs, but when she looked outside she saw a 120-pound Rottweiler. She called her husband.
Dave wasn't sure whether he should go outside, but then he saw the dog's big, sad eyes.

"He was trying to tell my husband to go out back and save his friend," Diane said.

In the backyard pool, another Rottweiler had fallen in and was drowning.

1. Awww, what a good story.
I love happy endings. I'm glad these dogs knocked on the right door. Some people just wouldn't have cared. I have a Rottie too, by the way and he is the sweetest dog. Big baby too.
