Feeling the weather
I'm all the way up here in NYC. I shouldn't be feeling pain from weather down in Floriday. ARGH!

This is my second day of serious pain. And I can't even take my painkillers because I'm at work. They make me high and lightheaded. I can't take them until after work.

So, my lucky coworkers get to deal with me hobbling around like feeble old man and they get to deal with my truly foul mood. Lucky them.

Fortunately, most of them deserve it, so I don't feel so bad about it. :nopity:

Can anybody else out there sympathize? empathize? comiserate?

Thank you. I'm done bitching now.

1. I'm at home sick for the
second day this week. I have what appears to be chronic cystitis which is very painful and I'm really sick of it.

Worst of all, I had to skip my coffee in hopes that it would help the discomfort and I feel like a zombie without it. :-(

3. No Coffee?
I don't drink the stuff. My poison is good dark chocolate! I couldn't get through the painful days without my chocolate fix. I can only imagine that giving up coffee is worse. :(

4. Damp weather SUX!
(But... if it sucks, shouldn't it feel good?)

Why (Dear God, Why?) couldn't we have flooding and bad weather last week when the rethuglicans were here?

Then we could have at least giggled over deligates stranded in sweltering subway cars.

*sigh* I hope you have coworkers to growl at.

5. Yeah, I've noticed it myself.
I always run into problems when the seasons change, and I'm not entirely sure the rapid air pressure changes don't affect me, too. It's kind of hard to escape that, here in Ohio, too -- we're usually right on the edge of the weather fronts, they kind of saw across where I live, so any time of year we get those really dramatic air pressure swings.

I'm beginning to understand why my maternal grandmother swore she could tell it was going to snow when the pain in her bunion spiked. She was more reliable than the NOAA, and my feet are starting to do the same thing.

6. Trust the bunions.
Your Grandmother was tied into a more sensitive and accurate air pressure guage than the NOAA.

I have my knees. They predict rain, snow, and changes in the air pressure with a hell of a lot more accuracy than the weather channel.
