Hit-and-run driver asks police for directions
LOERRACH - A hit-and-run driver in Germany nearly got away with his crime - until he stopped at a police station to ask for directions, authorities said Thursday.

The unidentified man had sped off after colliding with another motorist's car in southern Germany.

The other driver used a cell phone to call police, who were just stepping into their patrol car when the hit-and-run driver pulled in to the station and said he needed help finding his way.
