3. The Revolution Starts....Now by Steve Earle

Listen to it here:

The Revolution Starts Now
Steve Earle (new CD title song)

I was walking down the street
In the town where I was born
I was movin・ to a beat
That I・d never felt before
So I opened up my eyes
And I took a look around
Saw it written .cross the sky
The revolution starts now
Yeah the revolution starts now

The revolution starts now
When you rise above your fear
And tear the walls around you down
The revolution starts here
Where you work and where you play
Where you lay your money down
What you do and what you say
The revolution starts now
Yeah the revolution starts now

Yeah the revolution starts now
In your own backyard
In your own hometown
So what you doin・ standin・ around?
Just follow your heart
The revolution starts now

Last night I had a dream
That the world had turned around
And all our hopes had come to be
And the people gathered .round
They all brought what they could bring
And nobody went without
And I learned a song to sing
The revolution starts now

Yeah the revolution starts now
In your own backyard
In your own hometown
So what you doin・ standin・ around?
Just follow your heart
The revolution starts now

Yeah the revolution starts now
In your own backyard
In your own hometown
So what you doin・ standin・ around?
Just follow your heart
The revolution starts now

6. "Tiffany Queen" by the Byrds
I found their last (pre-reunion) album, Farther Along on vinyl and like it pretty well. It's basically a country-rock album and sounds quite different from their mid-sixties work.

23. Bitter Wind by Moby Grape
I love that song even though it goes bonkers at the end!...actually I'm listening to the whole two-cd set I just was lucky enough to find in a used record store, Vintage Moby Grape! Been searching for it for a long time! Basically their first 3 albums plus alternate versions of songs, studio banter, and radio promos! I'm very happy I found it, they wrote some great songs and they still sound great today! (well at least I think so)

Anybosy hear that "Al Qaeda" song that sounded like a parody of the Oakridge Boys "Elvira" earlier today on Randi Rhodes? I heard it in the car driving home, it cracked me up, especially her dismay upon hearing it!

26. Robert Rich/Lustmord - Stalker
Well, to be technical, I guess Delusion Fields is the actual track, but the whole record is one long soundscape (based on the famous movie Stalker by the great russian film-maker Tarkovsky).

Mmmmm, that's dark.

But usually, I'm listening to Camel(www.camelproductions.com). Listen and discover why the other prog bands are so insecure.
